As the world around us changes at a rapid pace, so does the world of alternative energy. As a company that prides itself on remaining on the cutting edge, Midcoast Energy Systems (MCES) is looking forward to the future.

In the summer of 2006 we were a partner with Chewonki foundation in their installation of a working 3 KW hydrogen fuel cell. It is the "Nation's first publicly accessible direct high pressure hydrogen system."
MCES has lead the way in continuing education for its technicians/employees to better understand the benefits of both photo voltaic and solar thermal systems.
In the spring of 2007 we remain steadfast to our education commitment by being a member of the Midcoast Green Collaborative: Midcoast Sustainable Energy Expo.
Teamed with Solar Winds Northern Lights we now provide our customers with a complete solar electrical/solar thermal system.

As the technologies change so does Midcoast Energy Systems by providing alternative energy installation options for our customers - today, tomorrow and the future.

Mid-Coast Energy Systems takes pride in being on the cutting edge of new energy technology. As an exibitor at the Mid Coast Sustainable Energy Expo for the last two years, MCES demonstrated it's dedication to protecting the environment by offering alternatives to the conventional.

Solar hot water systems, Geothermal energy and Hi-Efficiency Air-to-Air heat pumps are a few of the options that we can offer our eco-friendly and cost-conscious clients. MCES partners with building contractors and homeowners in the design stage to present the most economically and ecologically friendly heating, cooling and hot water systems for your home.
